This is by far our favorite winter meal - Pasta Fagioli - sans pasta. Kalli loves to help :)

oh, beans!

I really needed to get some work done this morning but my little Parker was having none of it. I tried all sorts of toys, a snack, some cartoons. Nothing. He wanted mommy! I remembered how much he loved the corn kernals at the Molasses and Music Festival so I dumped some black beans in a tupperware and he had a blast. And, it bought me a good 30 minutes to get some things done :)
